I think she's totally 100% guilty. I could have believed it was an accident, but with that crazy scenario the defense is going with... that she drown accidentally and George helped cover it up... I think that's completely untrue, which leads me to believe that Casey is responsible.

My husband watched something one night with a theory that she gave Caylee sedatives and drove around with her in the trunk for a while so she could party. In this theory, Caylee woke up so Casey put duct tape over her mouth, which killed her.

Whatever happened, so disturbing.
I could totally see that. It would explain the lips drawn on the duct tape. How awful though. That poor baby.
I just don't see how she could be anything BUT guilty, so I really want to hear from the people who think she is innocent. Maybe she didn't do it on purpose (or maybe she did), but I think she's guilty of killing her, whether it was accidental or intentional.
It's all dusturbing, but the scenario justEK described reading about is awful..and why was someone looking up chloraform, neck breaking, and other things on the family computer..I feel so sorry for whatever that little girl went through.

I want to know why people are so into the case. People are going nuts to get tickets. Really? Standing in line for hours for tickets just seems as nuts as Casey herself.

I could totally see needing a break from motherhood, especially for a single mom, but she had her parents. Unless her mom was adamant Casey take care of her and not go out and party.
I know many people do not like to blame medication, but I wonder if she had stopped taking medication or started taking something new? When my DH started taking wellbutrin, he went nuts. Pretty out of control.
Then there is the thought of PPD and being untreated if she wasn't taking anything.

I agree. It's weird and creepy to be so into it. I read the news online daily and will see bits and pieces of the trial info, so I'll read that. I've stopped going to people.com because it seems like her face is always on there, and it makes me sick to my stomach just looking at her; to think of all the horrible things her baby went through and she's just sitting here like a stone.
I think she did it, but I think there is a decent chance she will get off. They didn't prove premeditation, cause of death, etc.
The searches on her computer are not considered premeditation? Honestly, she has to be seriously ill to have done this. Sitting in the chair, she seems totally surprised by all of it.
The searches, etc. show ME that she premeditated it, but if I were on a jury and going strictly on the law, I don't know if I could agree that the prosecution has proved premeditation, etc. beyond a resaonable doubt, KWIM?

I think she is seriously mentally ill. Not sure of the diagnosis, per se but someone who doesn't realize the true consequences of their actions (in a childlike manner almost).
I think is guilty, in that her daughter was killed by her. Whether intentional or not, or whether she understood the full consequences of her actions or not, I don't know.
Guilty as sin and yes I do think it was premeditated. She looked up information ahead of time. She had duct tape in her car. She was prepared. And I think she should be put to death. Her attorney knows she is guilty but is trying to concoct reasonable doubt in the minds of the jurors to save her from the death penalty.
Casey is 100% guilty. The lies, the stories about her father abusing her, the story about the drowning, her partying, her carrying on while her child is missing just doesnt add up. I cannot WAIT for the day the defense has to expalin the story of how Caylee drowned. I think it would be next to impossible for them to do this without putting Casey on the stand. And they guy who found the body had absolutely nothing to gain by reporting what he found, in fact he reported it late summer and the cops didnt investigate until he reported it again about a month or so later.
Guilty. And I hope she pays for it. I don't buy the insanity thing either. People who lose their minds and murder someone just do it. They don't search online to find out how to drug someone and break their neck. Ugh. The whole thing just makes me sick. How people can hurt ANYONE let alone innocent children...their OWN children, makes me want to vomit.
Oh yeah. My husband also said in the theory thing he watched, they said Caylee's body was found in an area where Casey and her friend used to bury their animals that died. I wish I could find what he watched. I was asleep!
They want to claim her death was accidental and she drowned in the family pool, then there was a cover-up.
Yeah, if my kid drowned in a pool, I wouldn't be out partying and living it up. I think her behavior shows she knows and had a hand in what happened, otherwise she would have spent her time mourning or trying to figure out what happened.
Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

That is really f'ing disturbing. What parent puts duct tape over their child's mouth for ANY reason? And if this child did drown accidentally in a pool, why the duct tape? It doesn't make sense.
I think Casey is 100,000% guilty as sin and she is doing anything in her power, including throwing her family under the bus, to get out of the punishment of killing someone. She did too many weird things and that makes her look guilty as sin.
Her tattoo makes my stomach turn "Bella Vita" translation "beautiful life." Really? And do so, when you are driving around in a car that smells like death. How do you not report you child missing for 31 days? (and SHE didn't report her mother did!)
Re: Poll if you've been keeping up on the Casey Anthony trial.
I don't think she did it, but was in on it and knows who did. Maybe an boyfriend she's covering for.
For some reason, the guy who found the body sticks out in my head.
