FB Privacy ?

Someone has gone to my FB page and cut and pasted my statuses into an email and sent it to my ex-h.  We have over 250 mutual friends so I can't go through and unfriend all of them especially when I have no idea who it is but I would like to make it so that they can't see my statuses.  I'm assuming the best way is to create a group setting for this?  If that is the best way, how do I do that?  If there is a better way, please let me know.  Thanks!

Yes, I'd create a group and then block that group from everything.

Yikes! What kind of douchecanoe would do that?   I wonder if you're going to have to set up a secret group, but then how do you know how to filter out the person who's being a butt?

Seriously?  Are they in junior high or what?  I'm thinking you're right that the best way to hide your statuses would be to create a group and lump all of your mutual friends together.  How to do this, I don't know.  Plus, will this block this group from having your statuses show up in their news feed and block them from seeing your wall?  Because you'd also need to block your wall from them too, right?  That's terrible and terribly immature of this person, for reals.

This or just unfriend them all. Why would someone care enough to do this? Are they doing it to show your ex that you are happy? I just don't get what sending FB statuses to your ex accomplishes.

That's really immature of someone to do that. If it were me, I would clean up the friend list, keeping only your closest mutual friends.

This seems to be the million dollar question.  I'm pretty sure I can narrow it down to about 15 people and those people are def. gone without question.

1. Account
2. Edit Friends
3. Create a List (gray box on top right)
4. Click on that and start adding friends to the list (the ones you want to later block)

Once you've created the list, do this:

1. Account 
2. Privacy Settings
3. Posts by Me -- change this to "Customize" put Friends Only but "Name of your List"
4. You can go down the checklist on the things below Posts by Me and customize those settings as well to exclude the people you have put into that list.
