If you get more than one day of +OPK's...

...do you assume ovulation will occur the day after the first + result or the day after the last + result?  I keep reading mixed things about this.  FF says to use the first day, but many posts here say to use the last day.  What do you do?  Thanks!

    It changes for me depending on the cycle.  One cycle I just had one positive OPK; another I O'd on the day of my 2nd +OPK and then there was a cycle where I O'd two days after my 2nd +OPK.  Feel free to check out my charts.  I continue having sex until O is confirmed.

    It depends.....Last cycle I got my first + at 9pm and ovulated the next day. This cycle, I got a + at 9pm, then the next two mornings and ovulated on the third day of + results. It really depends on when you test and if you catch the beginning of your surge, or the end of it.

    The only way to confirm is charting your temps, which it looks like you are doing. Also, to be safe, continue to have sex until you get a temp spike. GL!

    More often than not, I have ovulated on the day of my first negative opk after a day or two of positives.  I would keep having sex until a day or two after the last +opk to ensure all bases are covered. Good luck!

    It depends, but, the only time I got more than one +OPK, I O'd on the first day of OPK. I would just temp to confirm and keep having sex until you are positive you O'd.

    If you look at my chart from last month you will see that I had five days of positive OPKs. 

    I keep testing until I get a negative or run out of OPKs.  And, I just keep having sex until I see my temp shift.  Once I see a pattern, I will know a little more. 

    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    I usually get 2 days of positives and I O on the day of the 2nd +.


     

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

    Exactly this. It varies for me also. Keep having sex, even if it's just EOD.
