What traits are you hoping you baby gets from you and DH and what are you hoping they don't get?

I'm hoping baby gets DH's calm personality (I'm too high strung and worry too much, please baby, don't be learning from mom while you're in there). I also hope baby gets DH's eyes. He's got gorgeous eyes.

I hope baby gets my hair, and my teeny tiny nose lol.

What I hope my baby gets:

our kindness, compassion, caring, thoughtfulness, DH's height or some of it, DH's eyes, non sluttiness from both of us ( I so don't want the slutty teenager...my worst fear besides my kid being a bully or a slutty bully)

What I hope my baby does not get:

my nut allergy, my infertility, my extreme shortness, my food issues, DH's distance from his parents when he was younger

I think that is all for now.

Gets: FI's body-type (tall & skinny), the intelligence from either of is (we're completely different), my hair, FI's eyes,

Doesn't get: honestly, I cant think of anything right now!

Since DS is a spitting image of my husband, I would hope this baby would be more like me.

It is crazy how much Henry looks, sleeps, mamerisms are my dh's. He does have more my sense of humor.

Physically, I hope baby gets DH's skin (I burn easily) and immune system (he has never been sick since we've been together). I hope baby gets my teeth (DH and his mom have a lot of dental problems) and my curly hair if it's a girl. Both our eyes are nice. I hope baby grows taller than me. 

Mentally, I hope baby gets DH's ability to not worry (I always worry) and love of athletics. I hope baby gets my sense of humor and book smarts.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

 Traits we want:

From Hubby- His eyes, his patience, his  ability to befriend everyone

From Me- My book smarts, my work ethic, my hair color

Traits we don't want:

From Hubby: I don't want baby to be a pushover

From Me: I don't want baby to be sarcastic, blunt, and anal.

I'd really like baby to get my auburn hair and DH's darker complexion. Also would be nice to combine my affinity for math and science and his for social sciences.

Traits I don't want? That's more difficult. Maybe DH's physical stature, since he's a bigger guy and worries more about his weight. And my anxiety, definitely don't want that.

Omg - I couldn't have said it better myself! My fiance is so calm and chill about everything and I am usually a basket case! Here's to hoping the baby has his traits there!

Traits I want my baby to get: my hair, my eyes, DH's sense of humor, DH's creativity, my academic smarts, my work ethic

Traits I don't want my baby to get: DH's nose, my impatience, my immune system (I'm always getting sick), DH's feet
