considering switching to CDs - questions

I was laying in bed sleepless last night and was considering switching over to cloth diapers for DD. I mean, I stay home so daycare isnt an issue and finding one that would be open to them and it would save in many ways after the initial expense.

I know some boards have a faq link or page - do you ladies have one? Or do you have any posts that are really informative about starting with CDs and what is involved - maybe with initial expenses? Im sure you get "start up help" posts a lot here!

Any other information, websites - or anything - that may be helpful to me and especially with talking to DH about it would be very much appreciated! Ive been lurking in posts and all the abbreviations and types of CDs are confusing right  now

We switched at 6 months and I'm so glad we did.  Now we're considering # 2 and I'm thinking- how quickly can we start LO2 in cloth? It can be overwhelming.

Two Things-

1.  Check out jillians drawers. They offer a trial for $10 plus shipping. They send you like 12 different brand new diapers. You can try them out for three weeks, then you play to ship them back.  It's a really good deal. If you like some/any of hte diapers you can keep them, otherwise you send them all back. You're only out your $10 plus shipping.  It lets you see if what diapers fit your LO best.

2.  I'm going to try to send you a PM that has our cloth diaper story in it. I've typed up a summary of the different types of dapers to share with friends. Some of it will be specific to my city/state but it can give you some background. It might be too long!
