Hey lady...thanks for the egging offer! I think I'll just let our fellow co-workers know what she posted on FB and that should take care of things and hopefully humiliate her! lol.
I have a decorating question for you. My BF is chomping at the bit to paint the nursery...it's his man job of the whole thing. He didn't give a lick as to what bedding I picked out but wanted me to pick it out ASAP so we could get started on painting and such. He has come around to my way of thinking (with no help from me- honestly) but to do a color on top and a color on bottom and crown molding dividing the two colors.
Is there a standard height for the crown molding? (not my question for you but it just came to mind)
The bedding is Jungle Jill by Carters (ignore the bright green walls below)...I went that way because I felt that it had lots of options as far as decor and didn't try to implement 20 shades of pink in 1 blanket (send my apologies to M that I don't want a Pepto room...lol).
I'm probably going to buy the fitted sheet so we have colors that we can match but I have come across the babymall website that gives you a pallette to work with.
I like the colors that it gives me but I'm leaning toward green/brown for some reason and it puts pink in both of them. Sorta the colors in the link.
Can you give me your opinion on this? I'm trying to steer clear of the trendy brown/pink combo but still want to throw some pink in since it is a girl. Right now the walls are a painter's beige and carpet is as well. I'm tempted to go toward a rug sorta like in the pic in the link to throw the pink in but thought I would ask you.

Re: ***mcgee***
Cute bedding. Technically you don't want crown molding - that goes at the top of the wall next to the ceiling. You're describing a chair rail:
To determine the height of the chair rail, measure the height of the ceiling and divide it by three. The general rule is that the chair rail should be about 1/3 of the way up from the floor (between 32" and 36" for an 8? ceiling). Floors aren't always level, so use a level and a tape measure to mark the height for the chair rail.
For the wall colors, it's hard to give an exact suggestion since colors can vary in appearance depending on your computer monitor. The green looks very lime green in some pictures, so I'd be hesitant to have that all over the walls. How tall are your ceilings? If they're low at all, having two colors running horizontally on the walls could make the look even lower. That said, if you do the chair rail, I'd put the darker color on the bottom.
If you want brown, I'd lean more toward a darker beige and not a chocolate brown. Maybe something along the lines of Quincy Tan from Benjamin Moore. A green in the same color family as the green in the bedding but a shade lighter would keep the room feeling light and not overly bright. Maybe pale vista or frosty lime from Benjamin Moore? Go to a BM store and pick up some swatches. If you did want to include pink on the walls, I'd choose something from the white color family that has just a slight hint of pink to it. Pink is one of those colors that looks really intense on a wall, and people tend to try to choose a middle of the road pink and end up with pepto bismol (or they have a crazy kid who loves the color of pepto bismol. ~sigh~)
