MFM appointment at 8:30

I am so nervous that my follow up today won't go well. I am more nervous today than i was going in to the hospital operating room. I will be so glad to get this appointment over with today and hear what they have to tell me! I will be 20 weeks Friday, I am praying for a minimum of 4 more weeks and obviously anything above and beyond that will be fabulous! My wish would be to make it to 37 but I have smaller goals set before we get there. I will update when I can

Well, the good news is baby looks perfect. They did the anatomy scan while I was there and he was movin and shakin! There were a few pictures they couldn't get but everything else was great. BAD NEWS: it's bedrest till the end. He said my baby is being held in by a stitch and a prayer. My cervix is closed thanks to the stitch but baby is head down and he's RIGHT THERE. The doc told me to lay down and do nothing else. I'm pretty nervous that I won't make it to at least 24 weeks but all we can do right now is pray. We did what we could with the cerclage and other than that there is nothing I can do.

Wow! I'm glad your baby looks great...that is wonderful news!! But I'm sure hearing that you'll be on bedrest until the end was hard to swallow. Hang in there...you can do it!!
