I really like them. And I'm so hopeful for
Them, but watching them
Makes me so angry. She obviously has DOR, and she NEEDS a second opinion. They picked this doctor because he works with the surrogacy center, not because of his expertise with the diagnosis. She's a doctor, she should know better. The show should open so many possibilities for them. Why have they not used that to get into CCRM or SIRM or even someone local in Texas for a second opinion?! It makes me so mad. You can get pg with DOR. They just need someone who can really treat it. Why they literally have all of their eggs in this Boostanfar guys basket, I don't know. (I haven't looked up his SART info... I'm just venting. DH keeps Telling me they can't hear me through the TV.)
that's all... Back to my re-runs.

Re: The little couple
Based on the house they are building, I think they can afford to see whatever doctor they want!
I have only seen this show a few times, but I did wonder why they were so committed to that doctor, especially since he is so far away and they have to FLY to his office for ER and ET... I thought it was really bizarre. Call me crazy, but I would like the doctor who performs my monitoring and looks at the test results to be the same doc who does the procedures, and I like being 20 minutes away so I can come in whenever I need to...

Well, I am DOR and in Houston and managed to get pregnant. There are some good REs here.
And you are right - they appear to have funds to be able to get the best, so why not get a second opinion?
I would guess, the academic RE's may not be interested in working w a show. Rosie Pope went to my clinic, and all they ever showed was the outside of the building.
Since the show is prob footing the bill, they want to air it. Just a guess on my part.
Maybe Bill is bartering services with that doctor...Hmm.
Or maybe they had friends that went to that doctor... Hmm
it's fun to speculate! : )
Totally this.

Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
I love them too but I was thinking the same thing, why is she at some virtually unknown clinic when they can afford to and should be at somewhere like CCRM.
I really hope they get some eggs this cycle though - they keep should a positive outlook, they deserve for something positive to happen.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
I'm late to the party - but I was thinking the same thing!
Seriously, after he "missed" ovulation last time, I would've never gone back to him. We really need to refer her to this board!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
