Can anyone peer into my baby maker and fill me in? I've never had brown cm last this long after AF. This is my 3rd cycle after getting my Mirena removed, so I guess things could still be wacky, but why would they be normal at first and off now? Has this happened to anyone else?

Re: Why do I still have brown CM?
Oh, how weird! That would confuse me tons.
I haven't even marked it as spotting since it's been so faint...but I guess any brown is considered spotting?

I have had something similar to that before. Actually, almost all the time. I don't consider it as spotting though.
I hope this isn't TMI but whatever..
I find for ME, personally, my spotting is always rosy. It's only brownish CM after AF. I have a horribly heavy flow during my period. To the point where I refer to it as Niagara Falls in my panties. After AF, I guess it's normal that some of the blood sticks in there and takes longer to flow out since right after AF have dry/creamy CM, and well, dry stuff doesn't flow so well.
You know when you get a small cut, and put a bandaid on, and after you take the bandaid off, the blood stains on it are maybe brownish instead of red? That's probably "dead" or "expired" blood. Same thing in MY PERSONAL experience, AF doesn't all get out fast enough at the end and just lingers and gets stale or whatever.
My doc said that theory makes sense and it's not easy to have info on everyone'sCM. It should only be fine so long as it doesn't smell or doesn't itch/feel icky.
Anyways, that's my theory. My doc isn't a gyno or anything, just a general doctor, so don't take it as a professional opinion, just some advice based on personal experience.
Thanks, I appreciate you sharing your personal info! That does make sense. I have lots of theories for other stuff that probably only make sense to me, so I get where you're coming from. :-p
I normally get a lot of CM in general, but the brownish doesn't usually linger after AF. Ugh, bodies are so weird. Thanks again!
