With all the drama today I thought I would change it up a little. What's for dinner ladies? My DH wants sloppy joes (yes, his tastes are that of a child) but I am not feeling it.

Rib eye steaks, smashed purple potatoes and some sort of veggie I haven't decided on yet.
PS I love Sloppy Joes!
Dear Teal - you are more than welcome to cook my dinner too! Sounds delish! My husband is sick (I think the flu), so we're having homemade chicken noodle soup. I'll probably make myself a creole tomato salad to go with it.
Before you judge me...it's my birthday. We don't eat like this all the time! This is a special treat.
Happy Birthday! Definitely treat yourself!
Pork chops, rice and steamed veggies. We both work so late, usually dinner is lean cuisine, salad and an apple, just like lunch, but I found some boneless pork chops that look easy to cook.

We're having left overs Not feeling up to cooking today. I made a Chicken Rice and Broccoli Casserole, half with chicken and half with tofu so we can both enjoy. I really just want to get dinner out of the way so I can move on to the dark chocolate brownies made!
4/13/12--1st u/s. IDENTICAL TRIPLETS (?!?)
PAIF and SAIF welcome
I happened to make a comment to DH about it a few weeks ago---since I'm always trying new recipes and cooking with whole foods, I said he probably wouldn't even like it anymore (last time we had it was college, 7 or 8 years ago). He disagreed, so of course we must have a challenge to see who is right.
DH made salads with lump crab meat, roasted corn, avocado, artichokes, and green beans on top of romaine with salsa ranch dressing. It was delicious! I made key lime coconut cupcakes for dessert but I'm skipping dessert

That salad sounds AMAZING. Lump crab is one of my favorite foods.
Definitely should've read this post before cooking dinner. I want everything except for what I just ate: spicy grilled shrimp over black beans and brown rice w/ sauteed onion, tomato and jalapeno. Followed by a reduced fat Oreo for dessert. Just one. So far

sauteed snap peas and garlic scapes
avocado and tomato salad
strawberries and whipped cream
(I'm not working today. Clearly.)

Add some cheese and you've got yourself a wine tasting party. Can I come?
