HCG LEVELS

Hi guys,

 I just had my blood work done a couple days ago and just got the results in today. I got a call from my OB/GYN nurse telling me that my BetaHCG levels are 240. She said you are very early in your pregnancy. She also said that they will do another blood test to compare HCG levels. 

 I just want to get an idea of what other peoples HCG levels were this early in pregnancy. I personally thought that my levels would be higher. But the nurse said its normal.

Mine we 43 or 48 (don't remember what they said).  I think I'm like 4 weeks.  They aren't doing a follow up.  They just said they'd date the pregnancy via u/s on July 19th. 

Doubling is more important than the number.  I looked and for 14DPO (where I think I am) normal is anything from 5 to like 489. haha

at 4 weeks i was only 65 then 48 hours later i was 109 then another 48 hours i was 223. This last number i got was last Wednesday. I'm going again tomorrow for more blood work.  My dr. told me this is good. As long as the numbers are doubling its great!  My progesterone was i think only 16 so i was put on a progestrone suppository.

 I was very early too, but no followup until the 1st ultrasound.  Mine is on July 19th too!

Kelbelle28: Thank you so much for your reply. Im going again tmrw to get some more blood work. I hate waiting for the test!! It takes 2-3 days! And I stay stressed the whole time! LOL!! Hopefully everything will be fine!!

Thank you! I know the waiting is really hard. I just try to find things to do to keep me occupied and also to make the day go by faster. Let me know how it all goes.

Is there a reason they are doing them?  Like are you spotting or something.  Honestly, sometimes it's best to assume everything is right (which is sounds like it from your beta).  Too many tests add more stress for no reason.

I just got mine done yesterday at 18DPO (4 weeks 4 days), and I was at 3290.

I had a mc a few months ago so my dr. wanted to see how my levels were. I know checked can't prevent anything but they are checking so when it reaches 2000 my dr. wants to an an utrasound.

At 3 weeks 5 days my level was 23. Then at 4 weeks 1 day it was 84.

I did my first blood test at 4 weeks 5 days and they were 396. I went in again at 5 weeks and they were 787. I've seen alot of people's who were lower though. I don't really understand what they mean....
