I need to find a job but I dont plan on looking until August/September and if I don't find one.. I don't find one.. but I am tutoring again this summer and I start again next Thursday. So she gets to hang out with her grandma for about 2 hours every Thursday. Should be good for all of us!
I went back half time after 3 weeks in order to stretch out my leave. I'll be back full time after 8 weeks. It really hasn't been bad but DH stays home during the day.
I got back mid-August, I still haven't set the date yet but I'm only going back 3 days a week. My mom is going to watch Dee while I'm at work so we've avoided daycare which makes me really happy.
DH and I own a retail store that's open 7 days a week, so my situation is a bit different, too. I was back to work (in some capacity) at 5 days pp and I continue to work from home most days. But I won't be back for real until sometime in August. I'll be working 4 hours a day until DS is 6 months, then we may up it to a full day.

I am going back July 18th pending that I find a daycare I am going to start looking next week. If not I will go back the next week and my sis will watch LO until she starts back to school in August. By then I will definately have some kind of daycare set up.
July 12th and I am quite upset about it. This will be 9 weeks after having Silas. I used 3 weeks of my FMLA on bedrest and my manager denied my leave of absence. The day after she denied my LOA she called me to make sure after hearing that news I still intended to return... ugh. She obviously finds it pretty screwy herself if she is scared I won't be coming back. Unfortunately DH and I are not in the position where I can SAH but at least he can, and for that we are thankful!

July 11th. LO will be 9 weeks old. I actually went in today to show her off and it was nicer than i expected. DH is working nights and weekends so he can be home with her during the day, which makes it easier.

I have to go back August 1st and I'm completely dreading it! Seriously, I've cried thinking about it already. I want to stay home, but it's just not in the cards right now. By the time we have LO #2, however, I should be able to.
I go back full time Aug 10th. But after at least one pay period if I don't like being away from LO, or it's just not working out with finding a baby sitter during the day when Dh has training (its very random) for his job, then I'm going to step down from my manager position and just go to part time hours.
I'd like to be a SAHM, but with Dh salary alone we could pay the bills, but we wouldn't be able to eat. We're looking at out next house further out in the "boonies" so it's more affordable, and I can stay at home.
I will have to go back the last week of August for the beginning of the new school year. LO will be 18 weeks old. I am already dreading it. My maternity is technically over now and I feel like it is coming quicker than I want it to.

i had to go back to work at 2 weeks. money was getting tight.
honestly i thought it was going to suck and now i sort of look forward to it. i like getting a little break during the day. i have only gone back 2 days a week so far but i go back full time again july 11th.
Re: when do you have to go back to work??
I won't go back to work for a couple of years. I'll take a Summer program next year to get my masters and I'll start work again after that.
ETA - if we decide to start TTC again, we'll do so during my Master's program and I wouldn't start working until that LO was at least 2.
