So this is my first month charting on fertility friend. And it has definitely been informational. I am now 9DPO and it says I shouldn't test until July 1st. But my temps have been above the coverline and continue to rise. Does the increased temp happen just because ovulation has occurred? or is this indicative of the beginning of the "incubator phase"? In other words can your temps be higher after O and you still have a negative test result? I know you charting expert ladies will know!
Re: Charting question??
IVF #1 with ICSI - ER 1/20 (16R, 12M, 10F), ET 1/23 (1-10 cell and 1-8cell transferred), BFP on 1/31 Beta #1 on 2/3 = 68, Beta #2 on 2/6 = 261 EDD 10/12/12
Yes, your temps can stay high and still not be pregnant. You won't know you're pregnant until you get a + hpt.
Ideally, if your temps stay high, it is a good trend, but I have had high temps and then plunge the day that AF arrives with - hpts.
Good luck!

I am 9dpo too and FF also gave me a recommended test date of July1. I've been trying to figure out why they pinpointed 19dpo as well..Maybe it's because they say if you have a temp above coverline for 18 dpo then you are most likely pregnant.. ? (I believe I read that in the FF tutorial).
FYI, I tested 10 dpo last month and got a BFP (it was a chemical pregnancy
) So, it is possible but it is dangerous to do so in the sense of being really let down by the BFNs, when/if you are in fact pregnant!
Since this is her first month of charting, FF does not know what her average LP is yet. FF suggests that you test 18 days after you ovulate (it suggests 18 days but for some reason tells you to test on a date that actually equals 19DPO) until it has a better idea of your average LP, that is why it is telling her to test on July 1st.
I agree with PPs, but most people begin testing at 10DPO. If you feel confident, test tomorrow. Keep in mind how you might react to a BFN, though.
Personally, I love to POAS, but to each her own.
