Or plenty of fiber. The fibercon type stuff is pretty neato. It really is tasteless in water (I haven't used it pp, though, so IDK if it's safe during Bfing).
There's also a stool softener cocktail or 4 oz apple juice, 4 oz cranberry juice and 4 oz prune juice, followed by a glad of tepid water. Works wonders for me! ?
Yes me! I've never been constipated period in my life. I have been drinking so much Prune juice. . . helps for now. That has been the most painful part of my pregnancy
Yes! After the birth of DS- after 20 hours of labor, I had a C-sect.. I had terrible constipation. Plum Smart juice was my Savior. Also, dried apricots.
This time around, I was prepared and luckily I didn't have that problem. It was much easier, all-round.
Maybe its the labor+ c-sect. factor that really goofs everything up? I dunno.
yeah...I am taking the stool softeners regularly, but they don't help. I had constipation problems during my pregnancy, so I am not suprised that I am still having issues.
I have had that problem my whole life, and yes, it sucked after have DS. There are lots of remedies. Just remember that fiber does not work unless you also drink a lot of water. Being dehydrated is a cause of constipation.

I think I quite taking mine about 3 weeks afterwards and things got better from there.
I can't imagine still having that problem a month later.
