I meant to tell you all this a loooooooooong time ago, but totally forgot until just now (we have another trip coming up and it's on my mind). Last time we went up to my in-laws' for a visit, DD had the toughest time sleeping in her PNP. She'd never had an issue before, and suddenly she just didn't want to sleep in it at all. It's one of the cheaper models, so after some thinking, we decided she just might not be comfortable in there (the pad is pretty hard). We headed out to Walmart, got a twin-size mattress pad and cut it in half. For less than $15, we were able to put pads on the PNP, under the sheet, at my parents' house and my in-laws' house (they each have one) and DD slept beautifully from then on.
