 I  predict I will give birth at __42______ weeks. (38, 39, 40, 41, 42+)- with any luck this litt leone one will hang in a bit longer so I can have a longer maternity leave- silly working aroiung teaching schedules, but hey, it if works!

These are so much fun! This is a family tradition for us. Everyone in the family does their predictions and you add it to the baby's book.

When my DD was born, my 6 year old sister missed her predicted date of when Kaylee (my oldest DD) was born by 1 hour LOL.

Its fun to look back and see who got what the closest/right.

I predict that my baby will be giant (I'm basing this on my husband's family's tendency to have 10+ lb babies - also why I am predicting a long and grueling labor; this has been true even for women who are married into the family). 

Additional prediction: My husband is going to end up looking "down there" and loving it.  Right now he gets squeamish at my doctor appointments, but I can see his curiosity getting the best of him.
