PBS-Dinosaur Train

Whoever came up with this combination of dinosaurs who ride trains was a genius.  If only there were trucks and puppies, too.

  • Even the lyrics are brilliant!   Forget the opening story/lyrics... all you need is DINOSAUR TRAIN!!

Every time Charlie sees it he yells CHOO CHOO!   It's all about trains right now.   Today's show, they were doing the dinosaur stomp song and he was stomping right along with them.. so cute!

  • I must be out of the loop. I haven't had PBS on in a long while in the day. Haven't seen this one. My poor TV is stuck on Family Channel. And Hannah Freakn Montana, Wizards of Waverly place, etc. Bleh. The TV has been off and unplugged since Friday until the meddling menaces return the stupid satellite remote. I bought DH a universal remote for Father's Day, and I can't program it either till they bring it back. Grrrr. Angry

  • Yeah GT, it's a PBS show.  I only have terrestrial TV (that new fangled digital signal stuff).  But we get two different PBS stations... Colo Springs and Denver.   So we get Dinosaurs at least twice a day!!!

Charlie also likes Sid the Science Kid.. mostly for the music.

Not a Sesame Street fan.  He's scared of Elmo.

  • Dinosaur Train is an absolute hit in our house.  We love PBS kids!  DS is 5 and DD is 3.  We also watch Word World, Curious George and The Cat in the Hat.

Boo for terrestrial TV...We can't get a signal here at all on anything, sometimes CBC and that's going offline over the airways in our area (they want you to be on cable.).

We have PBS Spokane, if I ever find the remote I'll look for it in the guide. It may be up K's alley still. E & K are so-so on Sesame Street, love Super-why, Mr. Dressup (in reruns), Busytown Mysteries and Dirtgirlworld. I banned the Doodlebops, they were making me crazy.

Oh - and they are addicted to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Imagination Movers. If I every turn the TV on again. Five days and counting.
