Hi Guys.. I'm new to the bump.. I was an old knottie back in the day but my husband and I have just started TTC.. I didnt want to jump on my local boards just yet.. not sure I want Friends and Fam knowing.. is that strange??
We've always been the couple that said HELL NO to kids.. or at least not for another five years lol..
Hubbs an dI have been married going on three years and together for just about 10..
I went through a ton of posts and these abbreviations are mind-boggling lol.. I did get the glossary though to try and give myself a crash coure.. Im looking forward to chatting with you ladies :)

    Welcome! I totally understand not wanting friends and family to know you're TTC - you definitely don't want people asking "are you pregnant yet?" all the time!

    Welcome and good luck to you!  I don't think that it is strange that you don't want anyone knowing that you are TTC... we have not told anyone either.
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    Welcome! A lot of the ladies on this board chart their basal body temps to confirmed ovulation and to time sex as best they can. It's the easiest and best way to make the most out of each cycle while you are TTC.If you are interested you can click on my ticker and sign up!     You're smart to wait on your local boards. Nothing more awkward than running into someone who you know and they've seen your posts about your sex life, CM, and temping haha!

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015

    Welcome! No it's not strange to not tell everyone your planning on ttc, it's a private thing and you have to do what you feel comfortable with. GL :)

    Welcome, congratulations on your decision, and good luck!  We didn't tell anyone when TTC #1 either, and now that we are TTC #2 people don't know but are suspicious, always asking when we're going to give DS a little brother or sister!

    I'm new around these parts too! 

    I'm with you on not wanting too many friends and family to know we'll be TTC in the fall. Weird thing though, I did mention it to my mom a few months ago. She quickly changed the subject and wouldn't come back to the topic. Weirdo.
