What time would you do a party for 3 year olds?

My ideal time was 10 or 11 since it is before nap, but the place we are having the party is booked in the morning, so I'm looking at noon and later. I want to avoid meal times so I can just do cake. Should I do something like 2 or 3?? I know most of the kids nap from 12:30-2 since they are all in daycare together. Oh, and the party will be 1 hour at Build a Bear and then to the food court for cake and stuff.

Based on what you said (morning is booked and naptime), I'd say 3pm.

Ditto pp.  B's 3rd birthday was at 10am, which turned out to be great.  It was actually my second choice - my first being 3/3:30 but that time was booked.

My 3 year old stopped napping at 2, as did most of his friends, so we had his at 12, which was fine, it was from 12-1:30. Actually most of his friends parties were around 11 or 12. We had a couple at 4.

I would do 3 or 4. But I would also state on the invitation something like, "Join us in the food court for cake afterwards" or something along those lines so they won't be expecting food.

Well since all the kids you're inviting nap at the same time since they go to the same daycare, sounds like 3pm would work well.  For us, my boys have always napped later, and we live pretty far from the mall, so even making it to something like that by 4pm would be difficult and I'd either be bringing really cranky kids (b/c they were woken early, or skipped nap and fell asleep on the way) or I'd just skip it to not have to deal with their crankiness and ruin the rest of our day.

My kids usually nap till 3p meaning we can't be anywhere till 4p.  We went to a 3 year old birthday the other day and it was at 5pm!  It was PERFECT!
