know how to convert m4a files to wav files on itunes?

or another way?  I have a CD I ripped from the library and I'm trying to make a copy of it for the car (it's a stand-up comedian) but it won't work b/c it is on itunes as the m4a extension.  :(  Lame.  Way to combat piracy, damn it!  ::shakes fist::

:)

anyone?  anyone?

  • Preferences -> General -> Import Settings -> Import Using WAV ENCODER
  • Loading the player...

Ok, so will this work for music that's already in my library b/c it's already there and I no longer have the actual CD I ripped.  Am I screwed?

  • Yeah, you need the CD to do it again. A WAV file is massive, and the m4a is a lower quality/smaller file. If you don't want to buy it (**not condoning this since I work in the music biz **) Angel my rec would be to check out the CD from the library again and re-import it.
