NBR: Anyone use a latex mattress?

We are re-doing a bedroom so that we can sleep on the same floor as LO.  One of the things we need to buy is a new mattress.  Ours is 12 years old and we bought it from Sam's Club.  It has been moved 5 times and bent around way too many staircases.  It needs to be replaced.  I have a terrible back and am thinking about investing in a Natural Latex mattress.  All the research I have done seems to point to latex mattresses being a great choice.  Wondering if anyone has had any experience with one?  TIA

Re: NBR: Anyone use a latex mattress?

  • We have one for DD in her crib and she seems to love it.  I used to sell them several years ago when I was working in furniture sales to get myself through school - people LOVED them.  They are expensive, but wear very well and you can't feel the other person moving around, which is a bonus.  I would suggest whereever you buy a bed, make sure they have a 30 or 60 day trial period where you can exchange if you are unhappy.  Most reputable stores will do that for you, at least in my area.  GL!

  • Thanks.  I am thinking about buying it online, but I want to try it out first so I am still looking around.
