Trying to Get Pregnant

New Gyno is much better!

So I just got back from seeing my new gyno and I couldn't be happier!

I've mentioned this on here before, but here's a little backstory...My old gyno seemed to be out to get my money and didn't really seemed to care about my concerns.  At my last appt he told me to schedule my next pap in June and I mentioned that if I'm not pregnant yet, that will be around the year mark of TTC so could we also talk about that then.  He said no because that would be too much to do during one visit. (mind you I've been going to the gyno for like 12 years and the Dr. has never been in the room with me for longer than 5 mins).  And he said that if that's the case he'll get me started on clomid. (no talk of doing any testing  or anything).  This made me feel really uneasy, so I found a new doc

Today's visit with the new doc went so well!  She wanted to talk to me while still fully clothed before getting started (never had that before).  She asked me about my TTC process and then said that she wanted to run BW today as part of a physical but then said the next steps would be an ultrasound and HSG (since DH has already had a normal SA).  Once we get the results back from that she mentioned having CD 3 and 10 BW and then go from there.  It made me feel so comfortable that she wanted to do testing to see if there is a problem before going straight to clomid.

So for anyone who has had an HSG, what can I expect?  Does DH go with you?  Did it hurt?
