half-and-half?

does anyone know how to make your own soy/dairy free half and half?

I want to make a creamy potato soup and i know i have seen a half-half substitute with rice milk and something else. anyone has any idea?

the crockpot365 blog has a recipie for "cream" of anything soup that's dairy free.  Not sure if that would help or not.  I hope your soup turns out delicous!

thanks! i'll look for it. so far i found regular "dairy" recipes which i plan on playing around with and see what happens.  But this might just save me some time
