I make them all the time. I use the big tun of whole milk plain yogurt (forget the brand) but way cheaper than yo-baby. I do 1/2C yogurt, 1/4C oj and then fruit. Guess you could do milk instead of the oj though. I sometimes use frozen fruit but also use fresh and don't even pput ice in and they are still good and she still loves them. I drink them too.

I've done this since she's one... can't. stop. wish. I. could.
I save all her half eaten nanas, mushy grapes, apples, etc in a baggie in the freezer. Every two weeks I throw those in with some frozen berries, a big tub of yogurt, some water (suppose you could do milk or juice) , blend with a stick wand thing, and save half that puree back in the yogurt tub for 2 weeks later. Then I take the remaining puree, put in flax seed oil and her polyvisol, and mix. I reuse some "Boost!" plastic bottles and fill those up for the week. I generally get about 8-10 each batch.

Re: anyone make smoothies for LO?
We use frozen fruit so that we use less ice and it is still cold. I put yogurt and milk in most the ones I make.
Mixed berry and peach/mango/banana are favorites. Also anything with strawberries.
We do a baby yogurt + a little milk and frozen fruit. Will eats them up, until he gets brain freeze!
He does best with them if I suck some into a straw and let him suck it out the other end - gross and inefficient, but he loves it!

I make smoothies for DS with milk, plain yogurt, banana, and frozen berries. I serve them in a sippy with a straw and he LOVES them.
