did anyone's kid NOT like the switch to convertible carseat?

We put the new convertible carseats in our car this weekend.  Well, both kiddos seemed kinda fussy in the seats today.  I'm thinking they aren't big fans of it.  Maybe because there is less recline (although, we put the seats on the most-reclined level)?  Anyone else's kid not a big fan of the new carseat?  Hopefully they get over it!

Hopefully it's just the *newness* of the seats, and they'll grow to love them:)

DS likes the seat just fine but I hate that I no longer have the ease of just jumping in and out of the car, especially in the rain.
