So I went to lunch with a friend today whose son is a week younger than V. She says she only gives him maybe 20 oz. of formula a day and purees. V eats at least 30 oz of milk a day plus purees and soft solids (eggs, pasta, toast, etc.). Am I feeding her too much formula? She will stop drinking when she doesn't want anymore. Should I keep offering that much and take cues from her as to when to reduce the milk? She skipped her 12:30 bottle but she totally pigged on dumplings, mac & cheese, okra and applesauce right before that feeding.

Re: How much milk for almost 9 month olds?
My son always drank so much milk. My daughter I can hardly get to take 20 ounces a day. She does eat her table foods really well, so I don't worry about it. Every child is different. I wouldn't limit her milk.
