NBR sort of...need cheap, good stylist

With time and money short these days with baby, I need to spend less of both when I get my hair cut.  Anyone have any suggestions for the Alexandria City/Arlington area? Also, has anyone had good luck at the Hair Cuttery in Shirlington? I normally shy away after a bad exp with Hair Cuttery in a different location, but this one is so convenient, it would be great if they had a good person. My hair is thick and sort of wavy, so someone who can handle its layers would be great. Thanks in advance!
