Success after IF

And the m/s has begun...any suggestions if flying?

After a 5 hr drive to Houston today I felt sicker than a dog and the toliet got its fair share.  I will be flying on July 1st and then in the car for another 5 hour ride.  i just know  this is going to be torture.  Any suggestions?

Re: And the m/s has begun...any suggestions if flying?

  • My m/s used to hit me hard on the way into work and I used to keep dry frosted mini wheats and some of the lacroix seltzer waters with me at all times.  I'd frantically ask DH to open the bag or can for me while I was driving.  Is there anything that helps you?  The dry crunch of the mini wheats and the bubbles and barely a hint of flavor in the seltzer water were the only thing that could tame my nausea.  I tried the usual suggestions of sour patch kids, candied ginger, saltines, etc.  I hope that the trip isn't too miserable!  (some people get some relief from those seasickness bands!)

oh..and talk to your doc about Zofran! :)
