Rough week for our family.

Hey Ladies!

I was just popping on to give an update on us. Some of you have seen on FB. We were called down to FL last Friday b/c Dh's grandma was diagnosed with N stage colon/liver cancer. So we literally threw clothes in a bag and drove to Valdosta to stay the night and continue down to S.FL the next day. We got in there and were back and fourth between the hospital and the house. it was VERY emotional. She said her good byes to us when we had private moments with her. She was doing well and asked to be transported home. She was transported to MIL's house Monday night and Hospice was there around the clock. She went downhill so quickly and passed away peacefully on Weds afternoon. It's been such a sad experience. Grandma was a wonderful and warm lady. We miss her already. Her wake is tomorrow and her funeral is Monday. I just wanted to pop on here and say hi. I think we will head back home to GA next weekend.
