If you could choose one kids' membership...

What would you choose?  I'm thinking of getting a gift for a new SAHM, and I'd like to get her something she can get out and do with her child.  She lives on the Eastside and her child is a one-year-old.

Thanks for your suggestions!

  • Even being on the Eastside, I think a zoo pass is great.  You could also go with the children's museum in Factoria: Kidsquest

  • I would pick a zoo pass. We have had one for the past two years and its the best thing for the summer because its a great way to get outside
  • Zoo pass hands down. My son loves the zoo and we just pack a lunch and snacks when we go. We have gone a few times each month the past three months. He loves it!

  • At that age I think I'd go with Kidsquest.  When they're so little if they can't crawl/toddle around they're usually stuck in a stroller.  Kidsquest has a younger kids area set aside so she can have her little one play.  If the kiddo was older I'd say zoo or aquarium, someplace to run around and explore.  Plus, with our crappppy weather having something indoors to go to when you just need to get out of the house would be nice.

  • Another vote for Kidsquest. I had one when my kids were younger and we used it all the time.

If I could only choose one, it would be the zoo hands down!

Maybe it's because I live within walking distance to Woodland Park Zoo, but we've had a pass to the zoo since Max was 11-months old and use it all the time. It gets way more use than our children's museum pass.  (And he didn't walk until he was 15-months old). He loves the zoo!
