I play ocean sounds all night in DD#1's room, it drowns out the traffic outside and the noises of our old house.

We have an Obus Forme Sound Therapy Relaxation System. I like it because you can have it on a timer or have it run all night. It's got 5 different sounds. Runs on batteries or plugs in.

We have the homemedics sound spa and have the ocean sound on all night.  I don't think LO cares at all, but I find it relaxing.  We also have the seahorse, but again I find it more relaxing than LO does.  She doesn't seem to respond to white noise.

i got a free app for my ipad  it works great  it has a timer for it and everything

We went out and bought the Mellow Monkey (https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/gifts/Mellow-Monkey-Plush-Sound-Machine/059366715431-item.html) two days after DS was born. He wouldn't sleep unless he was being carried and I hadn't slept in 72 hours. My sister was visiting with her 3 month old and they had a sleep sheep. We tried it and it worked. DH went and bought the monkey and now he sleeps in his bassinet with the monkey hanging off the outside edge. Only thing I would change was it turns off after 45min. He doesn't wake up but I wouldn't mind it going through the night

I have the white noise app and the sleep pillow app. LO loves the train ride noise on white noise but I like to use my iPad while she sleeps so I sprang for the extra 2 bucks and got sleep pillow pro. You can play it in the background and it has train ride sound plus more.

Perfect! We have the gentle giraffe, but as soon as the timer ends and the noise stops he wakes up.
