Sunning works for me. I wash them in warm water, then sun them around 4pm for half hour to an hour and the stains disappear. Thank goodness this works because C blows out her diaper at least once a day.

I keep a bottle of Shout Natural next to LO's laundry basket and spray before throwing poopy clothes in the basket. I haven't had any problem with the stains coming out. Before I sprayed as clothes got dirty, the poop didn't come out and I had to soak in Borax for an hour and wash again to get it out (which did work, by the way).

i pretreat with a product called zout as soon as the stain appears. then i run it throgh the wash as many times as necessary, pretreating each time. dont run it through the dryer until the stain is out though, otherwise you risk setting the stain.
We had a huge blowout on a white outfit the day we came home from the hospital. I rinsed with cold sprayed it with oxyclean and left it sitting on the edge of the tub- when I came back to spray it again all the poop was gone. I was pretty amazed.
I'd still try the sun. I dry diapers outside if it's nice and in the dryer if it's not. The poo stains come out in the sun whether they're fresh or dryer-ed.

You're right, it worked. I wet the onesies and laid them out with a few diapers. The stains were completely gone in a few hours. Like magic!
