NEFR: knitting question

This is for a onesie at the armhole.

Dec 1 st each side (every other row) 4 times.

 

So would the odd rows have a decreases? and wouldnt that make it straight on the opposite side? or am i taking this wrong? please helps

  • you're decreasing 2 stitches per every other row. i don't think it particularly matters whether you do odds or evens, as long as you do it consistently and do 8 rows total.

    so, your pattern would be:

    row 1: decrease, work in pattern to last 2 stitches, decrease (k2tog or similar).

    row 2: work in pattern

    repeat for odd & even rows 4 times total

    sorry the way i was understanding it, it seemed that i was only working one side! the pp cleared it up! thanks ladies!
