I have to go back to work for 2 days and I'm stressing trying to figure out what I need to bring to my SIL's house who is going to watch DD. How many bottles do I need to bring? and how many bottles do you have for your regular day to day feedings? I have 6 bottles that I use ..do you think I need more?
Re: How many bottles do I need?
I try to have 4 BM bottles prepared when FIL watches C. She usually only eats 2-3 times while I am gone. We have 5 bottles that we use to actually feed her. I am now finding that isn't enough (I am washing bottles every day!) so I am going to buy 3-4 more today.
For care, I would start with one bottle for every two hours she is there and one additional bottle and adjust as you see what she needs. I'd think 6 bottles is enough, depending on how often you want to wash bottles.
We have six bottles and (hand) wash them twice a day just because I don't like to have more than 3 dirty at a time. Fear of running out of clean ones.
Once he moves up to the 9 oz size, we'll probably get a larger quantity.
