We've been tossing only boys names around so far but my favorites are:
Briar James and Rugar James (I really like the middle name James and it's my FI name) Any opinions on them??
I'm really looking for a country-ish and unique name, Anyone have any other ideas??
Thank you Ladies!!
Re: What do ya think?
Briar is way better than Rugar.
Simon James
David James
Robert James
William James
Henry James
Noah James
Matthew James
Quentin James
Benjamin James
Russell James
Richard James
Stephen James
Michael James
...
Yeah, sorry, I can't pretty up my reaction here: I don't like either at all.
When you say you're looking for a country name, do you mean a good ol' Southern name (akin to Wyatt or Huck or Cletus or something) or a name inspired by nature?
My daughters mn is Bryar. ( I would have spelled it with an 'i' and I liked that spelling better but her dads name is Bryan, so we spelled it with a y to keep with the theme.
I love Wyatt for a boy
Neither name sounds "country" to me, and I don't really care for them. Wyatt is a good suggestion.
Briar is a girl's name and I don't know WTH Rugar is. Sounds made up.
How about: Wyatt, Jesse, Grant, Grady Judson, Jasper, Levi, Lyle, Orville, Rhett, Boone, Wayne, Dale, Wade, Forrest, Cooper, Cash
Those all sound country to me.
All of this. And I would add Hunter, Luke, Kit, Blake
I'm not a fan of either of them either...However, i do really like the Judd suggestion, that is very country to me.
I also have a close guy friend and his name is "Collier". I love his name! And he's a country boy thru and thru. It fits him perfectly.
This, I think Briar is very feminine. I love county names though.
my read shelf:
Ruger is a brand of guns...
I'm all for country names but I hate cliche names like Ruger.
Cash is a little cliche too. And I'm a HUGE Johnny Cash fan...
Wyatt, Rhett and Cooper are all amazing.

I agree with this, and are you considering Briar for a boy name?! When I hear this I think of Briar Rose from Sleeping Beauty and would never name a boy that.. But that's just me.
