He's out of town until this afternoon, and I'm home alone with Caroline.
I'm freaking out because nothing is staying in my stomach more than 30 seconds or so before I have to go running to sit on the potty. I haven't thrown up, which I'm grateful for, but jeez...pregnancy and a stomach bug do not mix.
My Mom is probably going to take Caroline to her house for the rest of the day, and I'm going to call the OB's office when they open. I'm probably in for a trip to the hospital for IV fluids if I can't keep some liquids in, and I dread that.
To top it all off, I told my DH yesterday that my stomach was a little upset, but I didn't get really sick until midnight. He's taking a test for a promotion today, so I couldn't get in touch with him if I wanted to...until late this afternoon.
He is going to FREAK if I end up going to L & D and he doesn't know about it.
I'm sure Caroline is going to get this bug too, before its over. I just don't see any way around it. All I can hope for is that maybe Steven and I ate something bad, and she didn't eat it. Maybe.
Send some good thoughts our way, if you can spare them. I don't care about me, but I don't want to get dehydrated for the sake of the baby...and I certainly don't want Caroline to get sick.
Thanks!
Re: DH and I both have a stomach bug...
I feel for ya. When I was pregnant with Lexie I ended up in the hospital overnight because of the flu. I couldn't leave until they got 7 bags of fluid in me. I'm glad you aren't puking but it's still no fun!
Just take baby steps for drinking and I hope you feel better soon!

Hang in there. My DH, DS and I had/have the same thing... DH is still down. I'm also PG, but only about 7-ish weeks. DS only had it for about 8 hours and I had it for about 24. DH is about 24 hours in and still not seeing an end to it.
I am glad it sounds like they will send you into L&D instead of emergency for an IV, etc. that will save so much time and be more comfortable.
Ts and Ps coming your way!
your poor thing! how stressful! you get your butt to that hospital, get those fluids, and then take good care of yourself! i'm glad that your mom can take caroline--maybe she won't catch it.
