My dad is spending the night, and I'm trying to get work done while E is asleep.  However, my dad snores SO loudly that I can hear him no matter where I am in the house, even with doors closed.  It's making it hard to concentrate! Sorry, I just needed to get that out.

Oh no my Dad is like that too! Ear plugs are my best friend when I stay at my parents!! Good luck

Oh, this is so my BIL. Thank goodness the room they sleep in is at the complete opposite end of our house, when we stay with them I get no sleep at all. I'm sorry!

You ought to suggest a sleep study for him. That type of snoring can be apnea which can really be bad for his health.

Oh, believe me, my brothers, mom, and I have ALL tried to get him to do one, and it freaks us out!  Sometimes we can get him to wear those breathe right strips if we complain enough, but he doesn't think it's an issue.  He's one of those stereotypical men who doesn't do something about his health until it's incapacitating.

LOL sorry I know it's not funny.  My mom and MIL are like that and when my mom stayed over here awhile back we could here here from 2 bedrooms away.  My DH actually went to sleep in our walk in closet because it was so loud that he couldn't even attempt to fall asleep and had to be up for work early.
