Feeling dizzy?

Hi ladies,

anyone of you feeling dizzy at times? I have been having little bouts of dizziness over the last week but it lasted longer today. Thinking I should call my Dr if it comes back tomorrow. My next appointment is on Wed. next week. TIA

Re: Feeling dizzy?

  • Yeah, it's a good idea to tell your doctor as it can be a sign of preeclampsia.

  • I felt a tad woozy for like 2 seconds today. I didn't think much of it though.

  • Could be low blood pressure. I was really dizzy when my bp dropped too low. Also, is it right when you get out of the shower or if you haven't eaten in a while? This will cause dizziness as well. Pre-eclampsia has a lot of other signs than being dizzy. Some are: High blood pressure, dizziness, seeing black spots and excessive swelling. I have high bp so I'm aware of pre-e symptoms. I'm not a Dr. but when I get dizzy I sit or lay down on my left side, drink a bunch of water and try to rest. It usually works.  If it doesn't go away or is persistent then I would call the Dr.

  • I'm often dizzy if I get up too quickly but it's because I have low blood pressure.  I would definitely ask your caregiver about it.

  • I've probably had 2 dizzy spells (lasting all of like 5 seconds each) over the past month or so.  They were when I was getting up, I think.  I didn't think much of them because they were when I was getting up, though.  Probably mention it at your next appointment.

  • I have had a few dizzy spells in the last week or so, I read that it is to be expectedl (likely low blood pressure)  I would maybe just mention it at your next apt.  Good luck!
