Interesting BF observation

So, in the morning A will bf on one boob and I'll pump the other.  For the rest of the day, the boob that she BF'd off of will give me less milk.  Which is contrary to what I would think because a drained boob is supposed to fill up, right?  Its weird.  And its happened since day 1.

Also, I've been BF'ing for over 7 months now.  Just wanted to say (type) that out loud. Yesterday after he loaded us in the car, DH kissed me and thanked me and told me he realizes its no small deal.  Was nice to get the recognition.

How so sweet of your dh. I often times wonder if my dh realizes how much work and dedication it takes to bf. 

For me, it doesn't matter which side DS nurses on, I always have one boob that has less milk. It's been that way for 3 kiddos now and it's always the same boob.

LOVE the siggy.

 

I have an under performing boob too. Totally normal.  And way to go on 7 months!  My DH is very good about knowing the work it takes to BF. Nice when the hubs realize it's no small feat!

Awesome job making it 7 months and awesome that your husband recognize it.  Oh, and the thigh chub is too die for.

Yup, my left one is the underperformer, no matter what I do. But interestingly, my letdown is way faster on that side so baby girl prefers that side at first. And I'm about to hit 8 months and I'm so proud of myself so I say to you "Go You!"

7 months is AWESOME!! Congrats! My boobs did all sorts of weird production things. I decided I just had to settle for making milk. I felt like both girls did such a good job of emtpying me first thing in the morning that my boob just couldn't refill the entire void
