NBR: need help finding a home for my kitty

Hi everyone... 

Now that our little one is here, I'm going to need to find a home for our cat.  Our dog is way too possessive and protective and won't let the cat get near us.  It's not fair to the cat and I feel bad.

He's about 10 years old, neutered, indoor only (not declawed) and pure black.  He's a large cat, but not fat - he's just tall and long and weighs around 20 lbs.  He's a sweet cat and is very relaxed and laid back.  He just wants to curl up and be pet.  His name is Cheech (my sister named him) and it kills me to have to find another home for him.

He has a history of some urinary issues (going back 7 years), but as long as he stays on the dry food he's on now, he should be fine.  Because of this, he either needs to be fed away from other animals (he can't have their food, they can't have his) or needs to be an "only".  

If anyone is able to help, I would be eternally grateful.  If you're unable to help, maybe you know someone who may be interested?  It's important to me that he ends up in a good, loving home.  If you may be able to help, please email me at rainfallki at gmail.com
