Almost 9m old and bucking 2nd nap?

This stinks.  DD has been talking/playing in there for about 30 minutes.  I know she was tired when I put her down but seems she's too busy for sleep.  DS has been down 2 hours now and will probably wake up soon...am I getting to that "no nap overlap" stage?  Cause if so I'm gonna go nuts.

    DS was like this months 5-9!  It sucked!  He would take little snoozes here and there, but no real nap!  He'd seem tired, but then pop back awake as soon as he hit the crib.  ugh, exhausting. 

    He's great now-- 1 nap about 12-2, sometimes 3!  DD naps 1-3, mostly...

    Hang in there, or maybe try shifting to 1 mid-day nap?

    DD started transitioning to one nap around that age. She cut it out completely by about 11-12 months.

    DD has been at 1 nap since about 6 months.  DS didn't drop his 2nd nap until 17 months.  They are all so different.  DS stopped napping altogether at 28 months and I am so sad about it, but we also have more time to do fun things together.
