pump or not?

DH and I will be taking two 2-3 day trips (2 weeks apart) to see family over the next month.  I've been pumping one bottle between 6-11am for the last two weeks.  I'm wondering if I can skip pumping during these trips, or will that be long enough for my supply to drop again?  Tim to pump won't be the problem, I'm more concerned about storing/transporting.

Re: pump or not?

  • Skipping a pumping or nursing session for 2-3 consecutive days is enough to impact your supply. If you've had issues, I would keep up the pumping even if you can't get the milk home.

I haven't had any supply issues, but around the time I stated pumping, she dropped a morning feeding, so I'm not sure if that made it easier.
