Need help collecting poo!

I need to collect stool samples for DD because she has been having some bowel problems.  Unfortunately, her stools are all liquid and there is barely anything for me to scrape off of the diaper.  We are on day 3 of collecting and I havent even filled half of the containers. 

Is there a quicker way to do this??  Any tips?

let her play naked on the floor for a while...at least I found myself with a puddle of poo last night when I did the same with DS. 

could you put something non-absorbant on part of the diaper?  might be uber messy...

Oh the joys of motherhood.

I would lay down a wee-wee pad and let her go naked for a while.  It'll be gross, but I'm pretty sure you are over that since you've been scraping diapers for 3 days.

I had to do this once with my daughter! You can either get one of those urine collecting bags and just use on her bottom or put plastic wrap in the diaper. If you do the plastic wrap stuff i suggest wrapping the entire diaper in it than putting another diaper over it (bigger size one if you have one) to catch over flow!

Thanks for all of your suggestions!  I think I will try the plastic wrap diaper thing first because who knows how long it will take for her to poop and I dont know that she'll be happy on the floor that long.  We'll see how it goes...
