AW: The calm AFTER the storm

So night before last LO was opposed to sleep, but last night was amazing! I fed M at 9 and we turned on the white noise, she slept till 11:45. Fed her put her in swing w/ white noise, by 1 she was asleep, slept till 5! I fed her and put her back in swing with white noise, we slept till 8! Idk when she actually woke up, our power went out so the baby monitor wasn't working, but her lungs were! Anyways idk if I tapped into a sleep secret, or if last night was a gift from god, but we are taking it!

Uggg, have her call K and tell her how to sleep.

K slept from 9-1:20, which was awesome, but then she was up till 3:30!! I finally fed her again to top her off and she did sleep until 6, but since then she's only cat napped (longest being about 40 minutes).

Night before last she slept from 9 till 11, then was up till 5! Slept from 5 till 6 and was up till 9. Then she slept 9 till 11. So I am very happy for our good night last night, I needed it.

It's the magic of the swing. My DD would only wake up once during the night to eat once I put her in the swing as her bed. I put DS#2 in there from day 1 at home, and he's slept the same way every night. Last night he slept from 10pm until 4:45am. God bless the inventor of the cradle swing.

Since LO was 31 weeks premature we would wake her up no matter what every three hours.  Now that she is over eight pounds, I would like her to sleep longer.  I think we might be screwed since she has been on this schedule for almost 3 months now.  I am SOOOOOOOOOO ready for at least a five hour period of sleep.
