DS is 13 months old, 30 lbs. 33" and is RF. I was all gung-ho about turning him FF at 12 months, until I started reading about internal decapitation. That sh!t scared the hell out of me and now I will keep DS RF as long as I possibly can.
I made the mistake of letting DS ride forward facing in his cousins carseat (they are the exact same size basically) and from there on out DS refused to go back. So he went forward facing around 15 months and he is 32 inches tall and 23lbs.
He's 16 months and RF. We've never had the carseat in DH's truck, but if we do put it in, it will have to be FF because I don't think it will fit RF. But, he hasn't been in DH's vehicle in the last 16 months...so chances are slim that he'll need to anytime soon.
DS is 15 months, 26 lbs and 32". He's still rear facing. He doesn't have a problem with it. We haven't talked about when to switch him, but I'm leaning more towards just waiting for the weight-limit to be reached on his seat (I think it's either 35 or 40 lbs) for rear facing.
However, I just thinking about this and I may have to move him to FF in my car (an older Corolla) when #2 arrives (he'll be 22 mo), as I don't know if I can fit two RF seats. Our other car is a Santa Fe so it'll be no problem
My boys just turned FFing this week at 21 months and 28-31 lbs and they are very happy about it. No more fighting and crying. Aubrey is just 21 lbs so she is staying RFing for awhile.

we are 14 months and 22lbs and rear facing. we're going to revaluate him at 18 months and see where he is with weight/height and if he's still good we'll go to 24months and see where he is then. I plan to keep him RFing as long as possible
19 months and still rear-facing with no plans to switch him until he reaches the rear-facing weight limit on his carseat (which is 40lbs, so probably will take awhile). We've had people ask us repeatedly when we're going to switch him around, but reading about how fatal injuries are 5 times more likely for infants/toddlers in a front-facing carseat have persuaded us to hold our ground.

14 months, 21 lbs, rear facing. He's pretty short so he will be comfortable rear facing for quite awhile. We don't plan on turning him until at least 2.

DS is 18 months, about 23 pounds and of course still RF.
He will RF until he hits the height/weight limit, whichever comes first - definitely past 2.
