Anyone else watching the game? And sorry, not cheering for the 'nucks, there are more Canadians on the Bruins anyhow. And Ference actually has a chance for a Stanley Cup ring (see Calgary, your guys are good, your team just sucks). I'm going to go yell at the TV now.
(pst, smileygirl, TB is being funny and I can't get into my pm's...I'll try later tonight)
Re: GO BRUINS
I said this on FB. I like hockey as well as the next person but really. A winter sport that is ending a week before SUMMER begins. I think that the sport's seasons are getting a bit silly.
As someone who used to live in Vancouver, I say go Canucks!
Besides, as a native Southern Californian the only Bruins to me will always be the UCLA Bruins

LOL, yeah, I miss the days when they were wrapping up in April. Stever, at least you didn't say Ducks or Sharks
. At least Boston had a good 2nd and 3rd period. I'm a Canadiens fan personally, and when Boston eliminated them, I stuck with them. At least it wasn't the Flames or (ewww) the Oilers.
As a lifelong Blues fan who may never see my team in the finals, I just went ahead and rooted for the team I married into, the Bruins!
There was much happiness in the house of the best man from our wedding! (it was more subdued at our house, since I had to take DS home and put him to bed midway through the second period). DH and his BFF both grew up in NH.
I couldn't believe the unpenalized early blindside hit on Chara. What the heck. If for some reason, the refs don't believe Higgins left his feet (and um, how else would he be able to elbow Chara in the head), at very least it was interference. At least the non-call didn't influence the game.
I grew up a Minnesota North Stars fan... now that makes me feel old.
