Ouch!

I experienced my first nipple bite from W's new sharp tooth. Flenching hard and shouting "FVCK, That hurt!" probably wasn't the best reaction. Guess I need to work on that. Yikes, it hurts.

Can't say that I haven't said the exact same thing under the exact same circumstances. It does hurt, like a mofo! Hopefully, it was an isolated incident and it doesn't happen again! Sorry he bit you!Tongue Tied

  • It was a long time ago but I still remember that!  My DS had all 4 front teeth come in at once...at 4 months old.  He used my boob as a chew toy and consequently I weaned him much sooner than I'd planned.

Here's hoping for some relief for you!

  • Ugh, biting sucks.  C did it for a while and I was just very consistent with saying no biting, that hurts mama.  If she was on side #1 I'd immediately switch her since she seemed to do it when she was done eating, and if on side #2 we'd just be done.  It took a little while but eventually she learned to not bite and now it rarely happens.  Good for Wesley for exercising his new chopper- but he needs to do it on something besides you!

  • Yup, thats pretty much the way I reacted the first couple times. Hopefully he's just learning that the tooth is there and figures out how not to bite.

  • Oh no!  I am not looking forward to that day.  I can imagine my reaction will be about the same, and it seems warranted!  Hope he learns not to bite soon!
