Ok, so I have tried to ignore this, but I can't anymore. I need suggestions on what to do. I itch all over! I have talked to my doctor and she says it must be hormonal, because there is not rash or hives. Benedryl doesn't even seem to help. I have taken two of them today at work, and I continue to sit in my desk and squirm and try not to scratch. It's not PUPPS since there is no rash, and I just don't know what to do. Lotions don't make any difference, and I use Dove soap and All free and clean laundry detergent therefore I don't have perfumes or dies to remove from my daily routine. Has anyone else had this type of itching? did you find anything that helps? I tends to be worse later in the day, which makes me wonder if it is circulatory or swelling related...
Re: I"M ITCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I don't have experience with that really. But, I have heard that dry skin can be a problem in the 3rd tri.
I use a super thick lotion cream that is unscented and was recommended by my dermatologist. I forgot what it's called, but I'll find out when I get home and let you know. It's available at the drug store.

Ok, so I was over here looking for a post from Wilma and stumbled upon this post.
you NEED TO talk to your dr about CHOLESTASIS as soon as possible. It can be really bad for the baby and I see that you are 41 weeks. I came down with it at 32 weeks and they induced me at 37 weeks because it is so bad.
I am not saying this is what you have but I feel so strongly about this that I think you should even get a second opinion if you OB doesn't do a liver function test.
I itched all over and I was very sick from it. GO GO GO call right now!!!
