Western Burbs - same boat?

Hi ladies,    Just wondering if anyone in the La Grange or surrounding burbs are in the same boat.  Havent lived in the area that long and my hubby and I would love to meet some new parents/friends along the way!  I'm 35 and due in September with a new baby girl!  Very excited!  I am also a childrens photographer if anyone is need of newborn, child or family pics...would love to hear from you!   www.kelimccoy.com    If there are already some groups set up - would love to hear about them too!

My husband and I are looking for parent friends, as we don't have many. I'm 31 and my husband is 37, so were in the same general age range and we live in Naperville. I've learned about some groups from the hospital I plan on attending once our son is born in August. Some of the postnatal exercise classes and low key support groups for new parents seem interesting and I like that you can bring your baby and socialize. Most of the classes are in Naperville or Woodridge.

Hi!  My husband and I are also looking to expand our circle of parent friends.  It's a completely different world once you have kids!  Our 7 PM dinners are now 5 PM dinners at places our daughter can run around.  Friends without kids don't always get that.  I've met some great moms through meetup.com and even through the Nest.  There's a link to the Downers Grove meet up group in my siggie.  Or you can PM me and we can meet up with some other moms in the area.

Hello neighbor!  We're in La Grange too.  We moved here from Chicago about a year and a half ago and we absolutely love it.  We have a 3yo daughter and a 1yo son.  There are tons of kids on our block too.

We would definitely be interested in photography - I am just getting more into photography myself, my husband bought me a Nikon 5100 last month and I took a class on digital photography at LTHS.  I'll check out your web site!
