Okay...I'm looking for some help. I'm 13 weeks preggers and am an EXTREMELY picky eater (junk food is my life). I want/need to start eating better but just don't like much healthy stuff. Anyone have any suggestions???
Why not tweak your junk food choices into something healthier? Instead of buying pizza, make your own with a thin crust, light cheese, and loads of veggies.
Instead of a hamburger, sub in a chicken breast between the burger buns. Bake your fries instead of frying them. (Baking instead of frying works for "fried chicken" too and you can also make "fries" out of other veggies. We have zucchini fries, turnip fries, and parsnip fries on a regular basis.)
Sub in your favorite fruits for sweets - even the worst fruit is better for you than a candy bar.
Instead of chips or other salty cravings, go with airpopped popcorn. If you need to "spice" it up a bit - throw on some Parmesan cheese.
If you're a chocoholic - try some chocolate pudding or chocolate pudding pops.

I discovered avocados- love them! I also snack on sugar free pudding, light popcorn, and lots of fruits.
I eat turkey burgers, lots of fish, and sweet potatoes.
